Tom grew up in Mansfield, MA in a large Italian/Irish Catholic family. He has been involved in the life of his home parish of St. Mary in various ways since he was young: as an altar server, religious education teacher, and RCIA leader. Tom attended St. John the Evangelist for grade school and Bishop Feehan for high school (both in Attleboro), The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. for college, and Boston College for graduate school.
Tom was also a seminarian for the diocese of Fall River for three years and was in formation at Immaculate Conception Seminary in New Jersey. The excellent experience of seminary formation helped Tom discern that he was being called to serve the Church as a lay person in family life.
Tom has also served as a missionary in Mexico with the Franciscans, has worked for The Catholic University, for Catholic Social Services of Fall River, and for Boston College. Tom is excited to bring all of his studies in theology and his work and missionary experience to his new position at St. Joseph's Parish and looks forward to growing in love with Jesus along with all the faithful of Falmouth!
