Fr. Ryan J. Healy was born in Attleboro, MA on December 25, 1992. He grew up as a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist parish. He graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in 2011. He initially attended the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, completing an Associates degree in 2013. He then entered Our Lady of Providence college seminary, studying at Providence College and graduating with a B.A. in philosophy in 2015. After graduation, he was assigned to St. John’s Seminary in Brighton, MA, receiving a Masters of Divinity and a Bachelor’s in Sacred Theology. Fr. Healy was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River on June 1, 2019. After ordination, he was assigned as parochial vicar to the Catholic Community of Falmouth, consisting of the parishes of St. Anthony’s, St. Patrick’s, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
